Writing for Liberation

Head to Jersey Archive and hear historian Mark Lamerton, who has written the definitive work on the Liberation. His talk will explain the reasons for researching and writing about the Liberation of the Channel Islands, describe the signing of the terms of unconditional surrender, focus on the events on Jersey’s Liberation Day and give an overview on the subsequent arrival of the main body of Force 135.
